Brittany is a graduate of the Class of 2010. She is a dynamic softball player and a true competitor. Throughout her high school career, she was Maryvale’s starting pitcher and earned a variety of athletic honors. During her senior season, Brittany received the Maryvale Athletic Wall of Fame Scholarship, ECIC division 3 player of the year, ECIC Division 3 1st Team ALL Stars, ALL ECIC 1stALL STARS as well as selected to the ALL – WNY Softball Team and NYS 3rdTeam. All well deserved honors based on her softball skills, accomplishments and success as a Lady Flyer.
Brittany was also selected as the ECIC 3 Pitcher of the Year during both her sophomore and junior seasons. Brittany recorded 648 strikeouts for her high school career as a Lady Flyer. Additionally, Brittany’s pitching success led Maryvale to winning seasons every year of her 4 year Varsity career. Furthermore, Brittany was the starting pitcher on the 2008 ECIC 3 championship softball team. She was selected as the MVP in back to back seasons in 2009 and 2010, not only because of her pitching talents but also because of her hitting power behind the plate. She accomplished this all while earning ALL WNY scholar athlete honors.
Brittany’s strong academic and athletic success, outstanding character, solid leadership, as well as, her determination and motivation made her one of the most prolific varsity softball players to wear the Maryvale jersey.
Brittany’s love and passion for the game led her back to Maryvale as our current Lady Flyer’s Modified Softball Coach.
